The Swat Heard Round the World

I feel the need to comment on the negative reaction to President Obama swatting a fly.

Who would you prefer as your president?

Minotaur

I've been feeling very uncreative lately. When I do take a break from the job hunt to draw, I usually ink my pencils from old sketchbooks. Having used the tablet for most of my inking, I'm left with a surplus of ink practice with the benefit of making certain anatomical corrections.

I think I can attribute my lack of creativity due to the fact that I spend all my days looking for work. I'm not reading or listening to music/podcasts. My first step to correcting this is to reread one of my favorites - Napalm and Silly Putty by George Carlin. I don't think I've read it since my aunt gave it to me back in high school. So hopefully you'll be seeing more comics from me soon. And hopefully I'll have a new source of income once again.

George Carlin

I hate seeing comedians interviewed, because every question is an obvious set up to a bit. There is only one exception for me and that's George Carlin. Why? Because the man is just honest. He's detached from his stage persona. He's quiet, reserved, but still sharing his opinion on the state of the world. like he's just sitting at a bar talking to the guy next to him.
