Another class project. Image based on a Billy Collins' poem of the same title.

The poem involves all the young men of a town courting the same lovely lady through song and playing guitars, while a social misfit practices instruments such as the bassoon, in hopes of ensnaring the lady's heart with sounds she has never heard before.

Adventures from the Family Reunion

Cassady Family Reunion '08

Breezy Point Resort - featuring an Elvis impersonator on the beach covering Neil Diamond.

My dad has purchased a Harley Davidson apparel item for everyone in the family. Mary Jane got a little something extra this year. Happy Birthday, MJ.

Settlers of Catan

Tabletop adventures from the Family Reunion: Settlers of Catan.

In Settlers of Catan, you build settlements and then have the option of upgrading them to cities. A sometimes frustrating process, you are required to have a certain number of cards. For a settlement: one sheep, one clay, one wood, and one wheat. To upgrade to a city: three stones and two wheat.

You can imagine how much it would piss off laborers from someone comes along and raises an entire settlement with four items.

And here's to my brother-in-law for drinking, what was it, four gin and tonics and a half bottle of wine?

You can earn 2 victory points for having the largest army in Catan. This is accomplished by playing 3 or more knight cards.
